This course is designed to introduce students to the theoretical and methodological frameworks informed by Critical Realist Relational Sociology.
This course is suitable for the students who are interested in conducting a CR-based (qualitative) research to answer "'how' and 'why' such an educational phenomenon X has occurred?"
This course will focus on Pierpaolo Donati's Critical Realist Relational Social Theory and also look to the Critical Realist methodological implications, retroductioan, research designing, CR-based qualitative case study and etc.
This study will help students to establish relational gaze and to learn CR-based research methodology in working with their thesis.
